I need to order a new seat for this bus with better lumbar support. My back is in serious pain and the existing seat just isnt cutting it. Id like to take the old seat (it's black) and put it in one of our older route buses with a crappy lowback driver seat. I'm gonna pull an Ajay and put a ridiculously unbuslike seat in 10901. I know we arent supposed to upgrade the route buses but the seat that was spec'd sucks. Price is $775, I just need the okay.

Yes, route buses are not supposed to be upgraded...however, since you have a medical condition, I will let this one fly...
Are you proposing I buy it, or you buy it?
Remember, if the bus is bid on by another person at bid time, no complaints about spending $800 on it!

Well, this makes me feel better about letting you do it, since it is a company decision...
But just because you are the head mechanic does not mean you can choose to install any random thing on your bus. The same policy still applies.
When do you plan on installing?
The old seat can go in 18701...if Eric wants it. Keep 18701's old seat fas a spare

You treat me like a criminal, all I want to do is install a better seat. As you said, this is medical, I'm not gonna go adding LED's and spinner. I'll place the order Monday morning and go from there.

Just let me know where the old seat is going.
