In New York buses corrode faster with road salt. You are used to retiring at an early age. Here that doesn't happen. As proven by many, many, many, MANY districts in the state, our buses CAN run for 25+ years. I am not making this up...each of the 3 districts in my area have at least 2 pre-'86 buses.
