Driveshaft Replacement
« on: October 24, 2009, 11:15:37 pm »
I think it's about time to get 19202's driveshaft replaced. As more and more members join, at this point we only have 2 spare buses... if you count 18501. :P Since we're selling P041 soon, that should give us sufficient funds to do so.

OR We could not keep pouring money into 19202 and buy a newer bus that won't have something else break in 25,000 miles.

Except for the wear underneath, and the damage the drive shaft falling off did. Leave this one to the mechanic.

The budget doesnt include profit...and we still have the two vans...
19202 does need to be fixed soon though...besides, everyone here will protest this, but the bus has a good 5-7 years left.

*Shrugs* Just looking at your service records, which only state a few minor wear-and-tear items, and the results of the tree falling on it. Besides, you said in your service records that you applied bedliner to undercarriage on June 18th to prevent rust! ::)

Well, the records also don't mention rust showing on the undercarriage, like other buses do that are still in service.

Walk your ass outside right  now, go in my office, get my LED flashlight, go look under the bus and then tell me it has no rust. Not possible. Stay in your office, I'll determine whether or not a bus should be on the road!

*Walks across office to get my 1,000,000-candlepower spotlight* *Walks across lot to 19202* *Sees spots of rust here and there* *Walks over to 18501, 1870x, sees huge clumps of rust all over chassis* *Still thinks 19202 should stay*
