Grounded P-buses
« on: June 15, 2009, 06:09:22 pm »
When a P-bus payment or inspection fee is missed for two or more months the bus will be declared as "grounded" until the owner nakes the appropriate payment.
P-buses are fully owned by Arrow during the time they are grounded, and may be used by anyone on a pay-by-use basis.

Currently Grounded Buses

WHOA! How about 2 months? (P041 would still be grounded.) There is already a $100 penalty for missed payments.

GAAAHH, more fees to keep track of! *Rips hair out*

I'd like more assistance in the Bank.... Maybe Ajay could be given moderator functions for the whole bank (except his checkbook) and process NCD payments, immediate bonuses such as overtime and monthly awards, and grounded P-bus stuff? I'd still do the weekly payments except mine, monthly P-bus payments except mine, calculate trip salaries, keep track of some of the pending bonuses, etc.

Yes. The bus still has to be inspected and that will help cover inspection costs. It will only be a small fee...yet to be determined.

10-4 Eric...2 months it is.

Kyle, you can use P016 for a trip or two, as long as it doesn't interfere with my activity runs. I can use 19903 for my regular route.

The more I think about it... we established a $100 fee for a person using a grounded P-bus that covers a whole month, right?

I'm not sure how much exactly Kyle will be making for those trips, but I'm sure that $100 is a huge part of it, for only a few days' of driving the bus, so I'm considering a different method of used P-bus fees. How about a certain amount per day that the bus is used, maybe $5 or $10 per day?

I never set an amount...I thought the $100 was for missing a payment, lol.

Yes, there will be a fee per day of $10. Borrowing someone elses P-bus is free, but up to the owner who uses it. You may take a route bus on any trip for free.

Yeah, $100 is for the owner of the bus missing their payment.

I thought we had a chatbox conversation that there would be a certain fee for anyone using a grounded P-bus, owner or not. That's why Kyle was upset about paying $100, since we established $100 per month for anyone using a grounded P-bus.... Wait, never mind, that was Kodie's idea, via PM. But we'll keep $10 per day for anyone using the grounded P-bus. Is that right, Sam? The way I understood you (or Kodie, whoever) is that anyone, owner or not, using a P-bus should be charged for it.

Does $10 per day sound fair to you, Kyle?

If I don't have to pay $100, I'll probably only have to pay $50 if its $10 per day. Thats better if thats how it works, because I'm pretty confused lol.
