This week 19201 has had all interior seats removed, driver included.

Also:

- Rubber and plywood flooring removed
- New 1/2" ply laid down
- New Rubber flooring in place
- Seat bases sand blasted and painted

I realized after doing the floor that the ceiling REALLY needs paint, so I covered the floor and gave the ceiling and molding a nice coat of new white paint. I reinstalled about 4 rows of seats starting from the front, driver seat is back as well. Just didnt have time with inspections.

Finally got the seats back in this one. The dash parts and what not were pulled and sprayed, they'll go back in tomorrow. I'm gonna throw some new numbers on this one also.

New two way is also installed.

^Are the old two-ways really that bad? I haven't noticed anything, but of course I haven't spent alot of time in these buses...but nobody seems to complain of excessive static.
You have to realize that there will inevitably be static, though, because of all the hills, valleys, trees, etc out here.

(Often a bus has to relay base's message to another bus, and vice-versa)

The issue is compatibility with new radios. These radios which were put in back in 1991 use different technology than those put in during the year 2009. It's good to update the tech stuff anyway.

(Remember that whichever buses we bought used will probably already have a new radio in them, as districts usually remove their equipment before sale. I can't recall whether we installed radios specifically on which buses tho...)

Nick, you had a sub driving assignment on Tuesday when the bus was still being worked on, so you used 19301 to sub on Tuesday. ;)
