I don't remember the mechanic being paid for labor for upgrades, only for parts.

Eric, we had an entire huge discussion. Upgrades are not necessary, therefor the laborer (ME) gets paid.

You're already being paid for the labor as Head Mechanic, unless Tatum wishes to have you work after hours and on weekends to do the job for an overtime payment on his expense.

I seriously don't think we reached the conclusion that you'd be paid for the labor (unless it's overtime, of course)... please show me where this discussion was!

I think that, unless Kodie is working overtime, he SHOULD be payed. If he isn't working overtime, he should NOT be payed extra, as he is already being paid for that time to work on the fleet buses...

Total, you do...but the money goes to two different places. It has to be seperate transactions...you can't write a check to two companies at on one check, can you?

Thank you, Sam. Apparently I made an extreme negotiation there, because I felt sure that I ended up saying no to labor payment. Although I agree with Sam in that the payment should not add on to the regular mechanic's salary, I said what I said, so Kodie will get paid for his work.

I agree about the labor though, Eric, if you brought your bus to Arrow wanting to throw a set of LED WL's on it, even though it was during hours, do you think He'll do it for free? NO.

I can always take it to a company that would do it less and not charge me labor fees! But, it looks to me that Kodie needs something to keep him occupied.
