Trans Air Fault Code

When I turn the A/C on I get the fault code "Fr" which according to the manual means Freezestat fault. The A/C hasn't been used in probably 2 weeks, maybe a little more.

P101 is already at the shop as I drove it in for that once a week thing we are supposed to do, anyway, the A/C manual (if you don't already have a copy) is in the driver storage compartment amongst the gummie bears.

I don't know what that is...but if it has to do with the AC you won't be needing it for awhile yet. I'd say keep it in service, however it doesn't get used until next weekend (unless on a trip), so its fine.

I'm going to send this bus to SBS and they'll call in the AC provider to come look at everything.

According to Carrier (I talked to them myself this morning), the temperature sensor in the AC system had gotten wet at some point. Upon pulling off the molding and looking at the coolant hoses, there was a leak right near the sensor causing it to freak out like that. Water penetrated it and caused a problem or two. Carrier is going to place a new sensor in and run new lines.
