2009 - 2010 End Of Year Procedures

ROUTE BUSES:

- Sweep interior of bus
- Swiffer floors
- Spray and clean all glass on interior
- Wipe seats down
- Wipe dash board
- Remove all personal belongings
- Remove name tag and put it in the office
- Leave door open
- Leave keys in the ignition
- Pump down the brakes

PERSONAL BUSES:

- All personal buses are to be brought to base by June 1^st
- Sweep interior of bus
- Swiffer floors
- Spray and clean all glass on interior
- Wipe seats down
- Wipe dash board
- Remove all personal belongings
- Remove name tag and put it in the office
- Leave door open
- Leave keys in the ignition
- Pump down the brakes

After the interior is fully cleaned and worked on (if need be) belongings may go back in the buses.

A rundown of summer bus work:

- Rafting buses will be first (Sam, I need you to PM me the final list of rafting buses please)
- Full exterior chassis and body wash
- Body wax and shine
- Repair undercoating
- Seal floors on rafting buses
- Fill First Aid
- Tighten bolts, screws, replace rivets
- Replace or patch ripped seat covers
- Wash wall side seat mount flange
- Grease Doors
- Anything else that is deemed necessary

SUMMER INSPECTIONS: Each bus will receive a full, standard inspection

- Rafting buses will be done monthly
- Summer route buses bi-monthly
- Personal buses will be looked over before use on trips only, unless they are running summer routes

I will be selecting 2 people to help me wash the buses. I don't want anybody volunteering. Reply with your name and bus number when you see this.

Back to Tatum's post, if you are switching buses then yes, you need to clean the bus (unless you want to wash all of them in a week, Kodie). It is not fair to the new driver of the bus you switched out of to be given a dirty bus!
