I was testing the bus some today and I felt a little bit of unusual shifting. I'll try to drain the transmission fluid, and refill it. If that doesn't improve anything I'll pull it apart further.

Are you frustrated that the problem might be fixed by a simple fluid change and wont require you to get a new transmission Bryce? :P

No. It's the fact that I heard a grinding and the bus was empty. I was on the way back to base and it ground upon shifting. It had been jerking for the whole afternoon.

Ugh, why did I bother.. Like Kodie said, a fluid change can fix that.

The transmission fluid flush is supposed to help me diagnose. If shavings come out I know we have a problem.

That's what I meant, but sometimes a fluid change can make it run a bit smoother, ie: less jerking. (Directed at Bryce)

I flushed the fluid and ran the bus, it seemed okay to me. A little jerky, but certainly not grinding.

Today wasn't bad. It barely jerked except one time where it jerked hard.
