No, Ajay, you don't have to pay the 23 cents. ::)

As far as the labor goes.... I'm not sure about Ajay needing to pay that. I don't remember anyone telling Ajay (or me, for that matter) that LABOR would be paid for, too. If the mechanic worked overtime to get the job done, then of course they'd be paid for it, but if the job stayed within regular shop hours.... :-\

Our shop hours could be much better spent on our actual route buses.

I don't care about the labor cost, it's only money, pay the man!

As for P101, this is that last project I'm having done to it, all those others on the list can be removed.

All of the others on the list were already taken care of Ajay, so P101 is as sexy as it'll ever get :P

Sam, what do you think about paying for P-bus labor?

At this time there is no fee for labor. During school, however, when route buses are more strenuouslky used, their will be a fee.

Sam.. I don't like that idea even a little bit. The buses are used year round because of summer routes. The shop is never any less busy, so for us to take time when we could be doing other things to add upgrades to buses is very generous, and we should be paid. I'm not even making any of the labor fee on this one, but I don't think its right. It's the least the owner could do considering they get their fuel free from Arrow. PERSONAL means YOU pay for it. You own part of it, therefor you pay for part of it.

Check the P bus maintenance thread.

Would you (Kodie, Sam) consider hiring a third mechanic since the current two are so busy?

P-buses actually save wear and tear on Arrow buses. P-buses are used on long trips. If the P-buses just disappeared, you'd be stuck working on the route buses more often, anyway.

This in mind, how about a compromise. P-bus owners pay for materials and labor for upgrades, materials for breakdowns. For routine maintenance, no fee to the owner.

That's not something I'll consider. Splitting it up between 3 just makes things that much more annoying. We are at our perfect work load, we aren't so busy we arent sleeping but there are certainly other things we could be doing.

That sounds fine. That's the plan I had anyhow. The prices I had listed were only for parts/material, not labor. Labor would be worked out later.

My opinion's out; I remove myself from this issue.

It's up to the AFO, CEO, and HM. I'm done.

I think it needs to be paid for too, however I don't think it is fair to charge Ajay an extra fee he didn't know was going to be there.

Why is it up to me, I said I would pay it, it makes no difference to me!!!!!!!

@Sam,
Would you consider letting me pay for the half that Arrow bought of my P-bus? So, instead of me paying for half I would pay for it all, I just don't like the idea of you buying half of something you (Arrow) did not want!

Also, can anyone else feel the tension in this place?
