Kodie, I specificaly told you NOT to read that!!

I am actually looking at a couple of buses on there...one for a spare, and one for a possible new route.

The problem with keeping P041 is that it doesn't have too many benefits. The bus isn't shorter for better manuverability, we would have to spend money on it, instead of make money, and we would likely have to keep it numbered P041, as CHP doesn't like me to keep a bus and change the number (messes up their records). The only benefit to keeping it is to divirsify the fleet...

For now we will keep P041...at least temporarily. We may need to sell it to pay for fleet improvements, however, which are more important than one bus.

P041 is currently sitting in my shop, stripped of any Arrow stuff. I can easily contact the DMV and have them change the number over and make it a route bus. Possibly a replacement for the leased T103?

To re-letter a bus is about $65 just so you know. I can pull that from the shop.

The problem isn't relettering the bus physically...it is that CHP won't like it. It messes up their tracking records...just complicates things. I don't know if you turned in any paperwork regarding retirement yet, but they won't like it if we pull it out and put it back in either.
The bus is not well suited to replace T103. It is not short, nor does it have seatbelts. Those are two things I am looking for to replace T103, if at all.
Stretch, I like the idea...but we don't need a full-sized route conventional bus right now, and it would complicate DMV and CHP records. Keeping the bus would cost money, rather than gain money from selling it. The bus is unrealistic to local fleets, and has had a hard life/bad driver.

Right now there is no benefit to putting it on route. Lets keep it though, and we can put it in service (if needed), or sell it (if needed). I don't want to pay hundreds to prep it for a route, and then not use it for months.

Well I aint gonna have it crowding up my shop. It has no plates on it, so I can't park it outside. Are we keeping it or are we selling it?
